Patch Posted February 7, 2020 #3 Posted February 7, 2020 I don't know what was discussed but it seems to me that he checked all else so a replacement part is all it looks to be. Guess it a matter of shipping now..
saddlebum Posted February 19, 2020 #4 Posted February 19, 2020 (edited) Before you get too carried away spending money try this first. Pull apart all your plugs to the ignition system and clean all the contacts. I had the same situatuation and picked up a programable ignition unit. As I Started swapping them out I noticed the green tarnish on all my pins. I cleaned all with contact cleaner and tiny brass brushes and put it back together. The bike never ran so good. The new part never got installed and that was 4 years ago and its still running strong. I keep the new unit handy just in case but so far all has been running fantastically.
