Flyinfool Posted January 29, 2020 #1 Posted January 29, 2020 Well I have been looking at some new equipment for the shop. I just pulled the trigger on a new 3D Printer. It should arrive into my grubby little mitts early next week. A couple spools of plastic should show up here on Friday. The one I am getting will have a working area of 300mm x 300mm x 400mm. That is almost 12 x 12 x 16 inches. Just think how quickly I will be able to conceive, make and test new WWW nozzles just for @cowpuc. There will be more pics and info once I actually get it into my grubby little mitts.
slowrollwv Posted January 29, 2020 #2 Posted January 29, 2020 And here I thought you were slipping a little. You must have kept it turned further north than usual this year cause me haven't had hardly any of your white stuff. Only about 6" all year
Marcarl Posted January 29, 2020 #3 Posted January 29, 2020 And here I thought you were slipping a little. You must have kept it turned further north than usual this year cause me haven't had hardly any of your white stuff. Only about 6" all year Yah,,, you're right about that,,, further north and he's got a hummper in it now,,,, misses us entirely and hits Newfoundland. Fix that sucker, Fool!!!

slowrollwv Posted January 30, 2020 #5 Posted January 30, 2020 This sounds like a request for more........ Well yes we could use some, it is a little dry around here. do you thing you have that hi temp stuff perfected. If not a little rain will do fine.
Chaharly Posted January 31, 2020 #6 Posted January 31, 2020 I think you're gonna be pretty busy with that fancy pancy new 3d printer! You could be like that Project Farm page on youtube and 3d print cylinder heads for lawn mowers just to see how long they run for!
Flyinfool Posted January 31, 2020 Author #7 Posted January 31, 2020 Naaaaa.... If my mower needed a cylinder head I would more likely machine it out of billet so I know it would last forever. I know cheap plastic that is almost glued together will fail. But I do have a lot of plans for it.........
saddlebum Posted February 1, 2020 #9 Posted February 1, 2020 beat this.... ARE YOU NUT'S Don't be giving that @Flyinfool any more ideas Probably why he bought the 3D printer so he can make artificial snow flakes that last all year:snow2:
ragtop69gs Posted February 1, 2020 #10 Posted February 1, 2020 If you need some practice, I'll send you my derringer grips to reproduce. I have 3 of these pistols that all have cracked grips. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
Flyinfool Posted February 2, 2020 Author #11 Posted February 2, 2020 beat this.... Some people have all the luck. I wish I could do that. If you need some practice, I'll send you my derringer grips to reproduce. I have 3 of these pistols that all have cracked grips. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk It may be a while before I learn to drive this thing. But that might be an interesting project.

Flyinfool Posted February 4, 2020 Author #18 Posted February 4, 2020 I have a Tevo Tornado. I have read a lot of good reports on it so that is where I am starting. It will be getting a lot of mods and upgrades. The print area is 300mm x 300mm x 400mm (Approx 12 x 12 x 16 inches).
RDawson Posted February 7, 2020 #19 Posted February 7, 2020 WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT Flyinfool, Puc n Carl asked for this stuff not us southerners. Think the vector is off or you need those new printed nozzles. We are under attack down here. We went riding last weekend and now we're huddling by the fireplace.

Marcarl Posted February 7, 2020 #21 Posted February 7, 2020 I'm thinkin' Fool has the wrong snozzles in as well, must have put on the Scatter-gun or Blunderbos, snow here is all over the place, except where it should be.
Flyinfool Posted February 7, 2020 Author #22 Posted February 7, 2020 Well I have been playing with the idea of dramatically increasing output while at the same time also increasing dispersal. I kind of means that everyone gets some but no one really gets a lot. Now granted a LOT is a relative term, What I consider a littel others may call a lot. ANd I am sure there re even some that will take what I call a lot and refer to it as just a little bit.
slowrollwv Posted February 8, 2020 #23 Posted February 8, 2020 Keep up the good work Jeff. Your doing a fine job this year. Looking forward to the 70"s again.

ANd I am sure there re even some that will take what I call a lot and refer to it as just a little bit. So what you're saying, or trying to say, something like talking, but not always quite the same,,,, that a lot means very little and very little means a lot. I guess that is something like being a straight shooter, you should be able to shoot straight, but not all that shoot straight are straight shooters. Just trying to define the terms that you are/were using. Maybe @saddlebum can you out, for I'm just getting lost in my own words here, with yours included.
PastorCurt Posted February 8, 2020 #25 Posted February 8, 2020 Turn that thing south!!! I think your compass must have the poles switched!! Or something It’s working too well here!!
