moose versus wolf

That wolf gets a A for effort!

That panned out just how I thought it would. However, the Wolf kept it close for quite awhile.

That moose only needed to go about 6 inches deeper to end the attack. I am not sure if the moose stumbled and fell to dunk the wolf, or it figured out that the wolf could not breath under water.

Ya, great video. Too bad the moose didn't figure it out, get the wolf into deeper water, then kick the snot out of him.

I have 3 encounters with moose up in N.O. around the dam area. Those encounters were very very aggressive. There were many stories back in the day when I lived between oceans that were told at the long gone now truck stops about moose encounters.

 

But what strikes me about the video was the second wolf seen on the tracks. I guess it was a female likely a sister? Certainly not as stupid as the sibling!
