Great substitute for diapers- doggy pads

Many diapers and mats just absorb a large amount of fluids but allow excess to still leak through. Doggy/puppy pads absorb not quite as much but they don't let the oils and stuff leak through. They cheap and really kept my garage floor clean. Also saved my paint job from chemicals by laying some on the areas at risk while lubricating/servicing.

I tried cat litter before but using a sack of sand is cheaper and does the same thing.

Fortunately I do a lot of wood working so I have a good supply of wood shavings and sawdust - Cost .........NOTHING and works great.

Only down side is it won't have the same fire resistance as commercial floor dry products but if I manage to use my head right (yeh I do manage to pull it off once in a while ) that has not been an issue on the odd occasion I needed to use a torch or welder.
