I need a new cell phone. Any cheap sources around??

My new, uninsured Nokia 6085 was washed by accident and now its kaput. No, there was no insurance either so a new replacement is gonna cost big bucks, unless........someone here knows of any reliable, cheap outlets for one.

I have a Motorola that I would have given you but I just looked at your profile and see that you are with Cingular. Mine is a Verizon phone and I don't think they are compatible.

You can buy any unlocked GSM cell phone and put your sim card in it, assuming the sim card survived, and unless it was REALLY soaked, they usually do.

Is It Cingular new AT &T ? In that case there is shop in my area i belive i can buy any at&t ( Used phone between 20 and 40 Bucks. Let me know.

Ebay- I'm doing the same thing for the same reason, I did pull out my old VX4400 so I don't have to be in a hurry it is acting weird though and I forgot how fat it actually was. I have Verizon so no SIM card worries.

If your sim card survived you can buy a att go phone for 20 bucks at wally world. Dog ate mine so need new phone bought go phone and like it better than the one cingular gave me.\

The sim card is fine. Im using it in an old phone right now, but thats on its way out too.

I saw some on e-bay that im watching. Unlocked phones. Thanks for the offers. Mine is ATT/Cingular. Ill have to look at the go phones a bit closer.
