1BigDog Posted May 11, 2008 #1 Posted May 11, 2008 My new, uninsured Nokia 6085 was washed by accident and now its kaput. No, there was no insurance either so a new replacement is gonna cost big bucks, unless........someone here knows of any reliable, cheap outlets for one.
Freebird Posted May 11, 2008 #2 Posted May 11, 2008 I have a Motorola that I would have given you but I just looked at your profile and see that you are with Cingular. Mine is a Verizon phone and I don't think they are compatible.
Guest tx2sturgis Posted May 11, 2008 #3 Posted May 11, 2008 You can buy any unlocked GSM cell phone and put your sim card in it, assuming the sim card survived, and unless it was REALLY soaked, they usually do.

rneal55555 Posted May 12, 2008 #5 Posted May 12, 2008 Ebay- I'm doing the same thing for the same reason, I did pull out my old VX4400 so I don't have to be in a hurry it is acting weird though and I forgot how fat it actually was. I have Verizon so no SIM card worries.
