RoTorKev Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 Made a bonehead move and left my jacket draped over the seat while the bike was warming up last week and the right cuff was just touching the exhaust pipe. Didn't get a picture of the damage but I'm sure you all can imagine. This is the after repair picture. One of a kind baby!
Freebird Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 Could have been worse. At least you salvaged it. I did something similar with a brand new set of Frog Toggs. They went into the trash.
RoTorKev Posted November 15, 2019 Author Posted November 15, 2019 Yeah I was glad that it wasn't worse. A new jacket isn't in the budget right now. I'm usually super careful about things like that, but it only takes a second. And now it's totally original!
Marcarl Posted November 16, 2019 Posted November 16, 2019 Can you get me one like that?? Ohhhh I suppose it's home made eh?
RoTorKev Posted November 16, 2019 Author Posted November 16, 2019 I could customize one for you, this only took about an hour all together. Edit not counting the time it took the pipe to melt off the original cuff.
N3FOL Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 That is a nice job and I like your choice of fabric.
