Tool Kit

I am trying to find out what exactly comes in the stock tool kit for a 2018 SVTC. I looked at mine and it seems pretty sparse. Especially for the size of the bag the tools come in.

See pic below to see what I am talking about. Pliers, combo wrench, two allen wrenches, double screwdriver w/ handle. Just want to know if that is all there is.

Have no idea fro the new Venture. But if that was for a second gen (99-2014) I would say thats about it except another spanner and a spark plug socket. What ya need is a credit card and a cell phone so you can call a tow.

It looks like something is missing in your tool kit. From the picture, where is the screwdriver head/handle? A spark plug remover was mentioned earlier.

Screw driver head/handle is there, next to the wrench. Difficult to see. No spark plug removal tool. But than, Yamaha may not consider that something to do along side the road.

 

Remember the price of the tool kit is only $8-$12 so do not really expect a lot.

I had ONE helmet lock cable with mine although the manual shows two. Can anyone confirm the new bike comes with just one? If so, how can I get another?

I just checked mine and I have 2. These are of the short variety though. I understand there is a long one on the market. Just don't know if it came with the Venture.

Mine has 2 locks as well. I am just a little disappointed since my 07 has a better helmet lock than the ‘18, but that is just a minor issue. Anyway, I use the lock rarely since the 18 has a huge truck. Perhaps contact your dealership and mention to them that I you only got one wire hook.
