What brake pads did you load them with?

Unfortunately due to windchills in the teens, I haven’t been able to ride the scoot. I didn’t change the brake pads. They had pads in calipers when I bought them. I was going to try those out first.

The only thing that bothers me is the blue on the calipers. I watched I video where the guy used easy off oven cleaner to take off the color.

I replaced mine with a pair of Roadliner calipers, I liked that they were newer and all silver like the stockers.

Why I usually tell people 1st Gen Road Star Warriors ('02-05) or 2nd Gen Road Star 1700cc (not the 1600cc) as they either black or silver calipers. I have a '99 venture in the 2-tone silver/champagne and the guy I bought my calipers from painted them Hurst Oldsmobile Gold....win!
