Venturous Randy Posted November 8, 2019 #26 Posted November 8, 2019 In the last couple years we have added SC to our driving as we have worn out the roads around the TN/NC mountains. There are a lot of nice places to ride and camp in SC. On the down side, even though SC has usually got the lowest gas prices, they need to raise their gas taxes and spend them on their roads, especially the two lane highways. Whether in the SC mountains or the mid-state down to the coast, some of the two lanes are terrible. We were down at Hunting Island, near Beaufort, SC a couple weeks ago and did a lot of two lane riding in our Miata and it about beat us to death. Randy

RandyCompared to the roads we left in Michigan, these roads in SC are like driving on a freshly made bed! Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
