grubsie Posted October 20, 2019 #1 Posted October 20, 2019 There wasn't a dry eye anywhere when the memorial was unveiled. I am glad I was able to attend. 3 1/2 hour ride up on the bike to the site in the White Mountains. 32 degrees when I left home, got up to 37 degrees when I got there. https://www.wmur.com/article/memoria...crash/29523873 And while the unveiling was going on, we had this jackass in the area. https://boston.cbslocal.com/2019/10/...dingming-zhou/
cowpuc Posted October 20, 2019 #3 Posted October 20, 2019 WOWZY WOW WOW WOW,,, that is an AWESOME way to honor those that died!! I vividly remember that horrible day when the news broke about the unfortunate souls who happen to be caught in the path of that tragity.. THANK YOU for attending and for sharing the story with us Grubsie. Hopefully the Monument will do it's job in serving as a reminder to all of us, far and wide, to remember how deadly the highway's can be and how quickly not paying attention while driving can be. My very soul reaches out to the family and friends of those that gave it all in their final moments,, INDEED,, Prayers Up.. RIP Fallen 7
