sleepy2 Posted September 24, 2019 #1 Posted September 24, 2019 Just went to check air pressure in front tire and just notticed that the people who last changed my tires semed not to be able to read or forgot how they took rim off as the rim showes the rotatyon arrow is going in the opposit direction as tire and bike. Luckily they are nearing replacement time but what would the problem be if any? Only checked tire rotation and not rim when I got it back from dealer.. Didn't think it would be shown on rim
BlueSky Posted September 24, 2019 #2 Posted September 24, 2019 Probably it would just reduce traction especially in the rain.
Marcarl Posted September 25, 2019 #3 Posted September 25, 2019 Don't know that it would bother anything, the wheel should be perfect going either way, but the bearings would be running in the opposite direction from their norm. But I don't think that would bother anything to much either, but that is only my opinion.
RonK Posted September 25, 2019 #4 Posted September 25, 2019 -- On my RoadStar, I run my fronts (with a stock rear size Commander II) for about 15,000 miles, then, as they are cupping by that time, pull the wheel and turn it around so it rotates the other way. This gets me another 15,000 miles on the tire without any problems anywhere. --
