Dorian has been skirting the NC coast for a couple of hours and should be making landfall soon if not already in the barrier islands. Thankfully it is weakening even more. It should start a northeasterly turn after crossing the islands. Stay safe guys.

I wasn't home but my neighbor tells me that Dorian wasn't that bad in Wilmington, NC. So we survived another one. The eye came very close. Several small tornadoes were spawned around the area but none hit us.

A lot of us Canuckians with Friends/Relatives in the Maritimes are ALSO watching closely.

Bpate's #20 link above shows it landing directly on top of dear Friends living in Yarmouth, N.S.

Assuming it undoubtedly picks up strength again over warm, unobstructed water between the U.S. and Yarmouth, our Pals could be in for a very dangerous Sunday.

This damned Thing is pure, undiluted Evil.

I was really glad that we didn't get the flooding in Morehead from Dorian that we had from Florence. my garage is a flood zone so I built flood walls trying to seal off the doors this year. thankfully didn't need them.
