Freebird Posted June 29, 2019 #1 Posted June 29, 2019 Not very big but big enough for us. Some of you may have notice during maintenance day that my old one was falling in. So I took it out and put a new one in. Stil have a bit of work to do on it but it should do.
Marcarl Posted June 30, 2019 #4 Posted June 30, 2019 Lookin good, now who gets to camp on it? Will it take an excellence in something? Maybe being the best Hugger?
saddlebum Posted June 30, 2019 #5 Posted June 30, 2019 Lookin good, now who gets to camp on it? Will it take an excellence in something? Maybe being the best Hugger? Would that honour be retroactive seeing as how the new pier was not there when I was awarded the honour of being declared number one hugger
Marcarl Posted June 30, 2019 #6 Posted June 30, 2019 Do plan on installing a wave maker in the pond Don? I think I might know somebody who could design one.
Condor Posted June 30, 2019 #7 Posted June 30, 2019 That looks cool. It amazes me what you go thru to maintain your place. Just watching exhausts me...
Sylvester Posted July 1, 2019 #8 Posted July 1, 2019 Keep diftzbiz away from it or it will turn into an ecological oil spill.
videoarizona Posted July 1, 2019 #9 Posted July 1, 2019 Hmmm...thinking maybe I need to bring a swim suit next MD...and bring the Pond Monster repellant too...
Marcarl Posted July 6, 2019 #10 Posted July 6, 2019 Would that honour be retroactive seeing as how the new pier was not there when I was awarded the honour of being declared number one hugger I think you might be well advised to review your request. There would be water on 3 sides of your abode and you on the inside,, but my mind wanders
WRIDR Posted July 8, 2019 #12 Posted July 8, 2019 Don, you have done an AMAZING job with your Homestead. How you find time for The Upkeep is beyond us! Forgot to look, but do you have Power out there so you could sit and work on The Forum Stuff? It would be awesome if you could sit there to do so, rather than relying on iffy battery power. On the other hand, it might be best to keep the spot for Chillin'. Not sure you even know that word.~ Humbled regards, WRIDR
Freebird Posted July 8, 2019 Author #13 Posted July 8, 2019 I do have power out there. It gets a little hot this time of the year but I still find some time to sit out there. Love it in the spring and especially in the fall. I'm planning to install a ceiling fan in the Gazebo here pretty soon.
