Guest allenluikart Posted May 5, 2008 #1 Posted May 5, 2008 I am interested if anyone has a set of rear view mirrors for an old school 1991 Yamaha Venture Royal. Bike Bandit has them but they are on the expensive side. Any other choices? Thanks Al

No stems on them they just set on the fairing. Nice try though,,,,..... Jerry

Jerry Jerry, I wasnt even thinking of a 1st or 2nd gen..just trying to help him find mirrors for a Yamaha venture..but yea your right again bud, I should have paid more attention... thanks... After I thought about it I think the 1st gen's do have a socket for that type mirror on the handlebars but of course the orignal equipment was on the fairing. I just figured he was looking for the Orignals that's all. Jerry

bongobobny Posted May 6, 2008 #10 Posted May 6, 2008 They generally go for over $50 on ebay which is a bargain considering the dealers want close to $200 for a new one! I was going to try an experiment by taping a set of bases with a 10mm tap so that you could screw in aftermarket mirrors, but the guy who was going to send me the bases must have forgotten about me...
