Took a ride from Wayne, NE to Madison to Burwell then to atkinson up to about 7 miles west of Oniell and blew a tire. Spent some time getting that fixed and rode home.

320 miles that day. It was a great day. I didnt realize how wet western nebraska was this year! Here are a few good pics and a short video from the ride on Nebraska Highway 11. Notice the windmill submerged in 2 feet of water still trying to pump more up!

:scared:,, looks like you got your pic posting thingy figured out brother,, GOOD ON YA CHA!!

We been seeing the wet weather here to Cha with areas similar to your post of water over roads.. I look at your pics though and cant help but think to myself how may times Tip, Tweeks and I were out CTFW refusing to give it up after "magic hour" (that 1 special hour of time just after the sun drops behind the mountains and the air becomes ohhh sooo sweet,, you know what I am talking bout) and end up CTFW for a few hours in the darkness - I cant imagine coming over a little down hill while doing that in an unknown area just to discover we were in 2 foot of water :missingtooth:

IMHO, spots like your picture deplicts can be very dangerous for bikers,,, good for the ducks,, bad for bikers :big-grin-emoticon:

Beautiful pics though,, glad you got er figured out cause NOW = no excuses :photographing::photographing::photographing::photographing:

P.S. = LOVE the video too brother!! LOVE the one handed camera handling = SIC EM CHA = PUCS PROUD OF YA!! Word of advice,, at least IMHO,, slow down a little so we can hear your voice and then do a commentary as you ride explaining where your at, what you see/smell/feel and :Im not listening to about that GORGEOUS 1st Gen thats carrying you thru thick n thin = your scoot will LOVE you forever!!!! And reach out, turn the camera towards your loped eared varmint mug and :big-grin-emoticon: like only a real deal genuine bug filled teeth CTFW varmint can do!!!

WELL DONE MY FRIEND - WELL DONE!!

My sentiments exactly about the water on the road. Even in the middle of the day it surprised me and i found myself grabbing a ton of brake! Typically as a rule i try not to ride at night but as you said, you get in that magic hour and something tells you to just keep pushing! When we had the major flooding come through that driving at night stuff caught a cager by surprise when he found himself in a few feet of rushing flood water. Unfortunately he didn't survive the ordeal.

As far as the recording goes thanks for the advice! I'm leaving here on the first of the month so i think I'll get plenty of practice recording.

Just be ready to get tired of seein my ugly mug!
