Bobcat54s Posted June 12, 2019 #1 Posted June 12, 2019 Hey fellas, just wanted to check in with everyone after getting back from our annual early summer trip on the bikes. This year we went to South Dakota- Custer, Mt. Rushmore, needles, Deadwood, Sturgis, Devils Tower, then back home to Oklahoma. About 2400 miles in about 6 days. Good trip. Dad had bike trouble with his Victory Vision, so had to leave early. Other than that, everything went as planned.
cowpuc Posted June 24, 2019 #5 Posted June 24, 2019 WOWZY WOW WOW WOW = AWESOME PICS OF SOME AWESOME CTFW BROTHER!! Thanks for allowing us the privilage of a ride along!! BEAUTIFUL P.S. - how were the bugs? I have done a fair amount of CTFW out in that area myself and always loved the no bugs routine.. With all the wet weather happening, I am curious if the buggy wind shield routine is on the rise out there on the prairie?
djh3 Posted June 24, 2019 #6 Posted June 24, 2019 Man looks neat. What kind of trouble can you have with a Victory. Pretty built proof.
Bobcat54s Posted June 27, 2019 Author #8 Posted June 27, 2019 We usually had to clean the windshield about every other gas stop. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Dad's victory had loud screeching coming from primary belt pulley area. Worried him, so he went back home. Took it apart and found pieces missing from that pulley area. He bought it used last year.
