Yep, it's the season. Everytime someone...hess4less in this case.... parts out a complete bike and gets big bucks for a lot of the parts, the other sellers come out of the woodwork and jump in. Which is a good thing for the buyer because the prices will start to drop again. It's just a supply and demand thing.... Be patient grasshopper..... :)

Got sniped on set of forks. Thinking of putting the parts I have togather.

E-snipe is the only way that I will bid on e-bay. If you just put in bids others do the same and the competition starts, often culminating in a price that you could have purchased new at. I once seen a new windshield go for over 250.00 with over 20 bids. At the time, they could be bought new from Yamaha for right at a 100.00. I use E-snipe and enter a price that I would be willing to pay for that item and if I get it fine, if not then that's fine also. I've won many auctions that way. Yesterday I got both front turn signal assemblies for a first gen for 17.53. I've seen these go as high as 50.00 for one. I also got out bid on a set of forks yesterday. I had a e-snipe bid of 126.53 and some one had a proxy for a higher amount. Oh well.

:sign yeah that: Being out sniped doesn't bother me. It was just worth more to the other bidder. 'Nother thing.... Maybe it's only me, but I hate being refered to as the winning bidder. I didn't win a dang thing, I just bought something..... When I win something it better be free..............
