Du-Rron Posted April 17, 2019 Share #1 Posted April 17, 2019 2019 Top Ten Most Powerful Motorcycles. Don't mean to spoil the ending but the top two for real are... V-4 powered. This video shows how viable and adaptable the V4 engine really is. One manufacturer even abandoned their old engine architecture to start anew with the V4. Enjoy.... tufftom4 Posted April 18, 2019 Share #4 Posted April 18, 2019 When I was in the Marine Corp in 1985 I bought a brand new Honda V65 Sabre that was a rocket ship at the time I could not imagine riding one of those.

I could Tuffy,, I DEFINITELY COULD Indeed, those V65's were AWESOME scoots!! Kind of akin to the Suzuki Madura on steroids... Fun bikes!! Then, if memory serves correctly, along came the V-Max and Honda and Suzuki calmly and regretfully bowed out of the early muscle bike scene Which brings up another itchy palm point,,, all this about V-4's has my trigger finger twitching for a 1700cc V-Max... I know it won't hold a candle to Maggie but still,,, a 180 horse power modern day, injected V-4 would sure enough put a on this geezers mug! Thanks alot @Du-Ron,, ya done got me dreaming again:thumbsup: By the way Tuffy,, thanks for your service in doing all you did to keep America free brother!!:usa:

Du-Rron Posted April 19, 2019 Author Share #7 Posted April 19, 2019 When I was in the Marine Corp in 1985 I bought a brand new Honda V65 Sabre that was a rocket ship at the time I could not imagine riding one of those. Here is my V65 with all the goodies on it. The V65 Sabre was a rocket ship and at the time Honda's highest horsepower production motorcycle. And a smooth one at that. I could really get into an Aprilla RSV4... if it had a shaft.

JUST BEAUTIFUL!! Thanks for sharing that one brother!! Back at that time a guy riding a V-65 pretty owned the highways, wasnt a whole lot around that could keep up (talking production vehicles) - definitely a HUGE advantage if/when on road problems with other drivers arose = someone dont like bikes and starts with the games = bye bye time.. PLUS,, wickin em up is SOOOO MUCH FUN .. I still giggle when people say,, "how can you stand to ride something like that = its a ticket getting machine" to which I always reply - "just cause you got all those ponies under you doesnt mean you have to use em all the time and I would rather have em sitting there waiting for me to call em into action than twist the throttle and have no one home to answer the call" = strange breed we V-4 lovers are I guess . Also noticing the rest area your sitting in,,, also my kind of joint = I always called em quick stop camp grounds GOOD ONE DUEY = THANK YOU FOR SHARING!! BEAUTIFUL BIKE!!
