Kc9ojn Posted March 29, 2019 #1 Posted March 29, 2019 Its with mixed feelings I say good by to my old girl (my 88 RV) She has been a great steed. I know she is going to a good home. A great guy that had an 1200 V back in the day. He plans on giving her a little TLC and getting her out on the road plenty. So I am happy. I love the Pic of the two together, I didn't realize just how close in color the two were until I put them together.
Marcarl Posted March 29, 2019 #2 Posted March 29, 2019 Seems you like that color,,, did you know that? Not sure it can be called an upgrade, so congrats on the change.
cowpuc Posted March 29, 2019 #3 Posted March 29, 2019 WOWZY WOW WOW WOW - GORGEOUS PIC OF SOME GORGEOUS SCOOTS RIGHT THERE KC = THANK YOU FOR SHARING!! Personnally I am with that lop eared Spider ridin varmint Marcarl though,,, my heart (and butt) is more inclined to see the 88 as the upgrade and that 88 of yours was gorgeous in all it's trimmings,, the sort of scoot that gives me the ol = me and Tip (riding partner over numerous CTFW excursions) could easily enjoy running the wheels off that puppy feeling:missingtooth: For an RSV type of CTFW lop eared though,, the one you kept is a gorgeous piece of work too though,, I too LOVE that color,, kinda grows on ya dont it!! I know I seemed to have formed some sort of Venture addiction to it thru the years:big-grin-emoticon: All the VERY BEST in enjoying this season on that one brother!! Get out ride! Puc
Kc9ojn Posted March 30, 2019 Author #4 Posted March 30, 2019 Lol ya I have noticed that the new girl while in my humble opinion is more comfortable for me to ride she has lost a lot of pep, I am past the days of pulling up to the kids on the 600 ninjas and blowing them off the line and watching there jaw drop as the Titanics front tire came off the ground. Hmm or am I, I still have my first 84 RV in the shed, boy it would take a miracle to get her roadworthy lol. I keep her cuz she was my first. Some day when I am done paying for my kids college I will have a garage, then I will breath life back into her. Then I will have 2 beautiful steeds to ride. The wife just didnt want 4 around hahaha Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Kc9ojn Posted March 31, 2019 Author #6 Posted March 31, 2019 Too bad you couldn't keep both.Lol ya but I don't have a big enough stable just yet. I sold my 88 with an 87 parts bike that had been laid down on the highway. Lots of good parts but I dont think it would ever have been road worthy again. So that ment I have a 2 stable barn and had 4 horses in it. And a very Patient wife but she has her limits and I am not willing to test them in this regard. I want her to ride with me more not less. Kc9ojn Posted March 31, 2019 Author #7 Posted March 31, 2019 Seems you like that color,,, did you know that? Not sure it can be called an upgrade, so congrats on the change.Hah now that you mentioned it it no, it did not cross my mind when I was picking out the new one with the wifee, come to mention it my 84 is maroon as well. I think it stems from High school and college, HS colors were maroon and gray and wifes college colors were Maroon and Gold. Lol[emoji1787][emoji1787] Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
