JimRoberts Posted May 3, 2008 #1 Posted May 3, 2008 Does anyone know if Yamaha made chrome rotor covers for the 1st gen VR's? I've seen a couple of bikes with them but the answer I always get when I ask the owner about them is that the bike had them when purchased. I am looking for a set so I can install a Ring of Fire. Any help from anyone?
muffinman Posted May 4, 2008 #2 Posted May 4, 2008 The covers were a Yamaha acessory good luck finding a set they bring BIG money. Also make sure you install a switch if you add a ring of fire on your scoot I have heard that some states will give you a ticket for having them on a bike Jeff
bongobobny Posted May 4, 2008 #4 Posted May 4, 2008 I have also heard that you can modify a set of Gold Wing covers to fit. Keep in mind that the ones on ebay are used as none have been made new for many years, so it is not uncommon for them to be pitted and rusted.
