hunter 1500 Posted March 23, 2019 #1 Posted March 23, 2019 Has anyone come up with a trailer hitch for the Eluder. I'm in the process of buying one and want to be able to tow my trailer with it. Had one for the RSTD I bought from someone on the forum and it was awsome. Any help would be appreciated.
Freebird Posted March 23, 2019 #2 Posted March 23, 2019 There are already a couple of them out there. The one from Big Bike Parts is cheaper and should do fine. I bought one from HitchDoc and it is built like a tank and took me about 6 or so hours to install. It's a very nice hitch but like most of their hitches, I think it is way overbuilt. Anyway, I have it installed and am happy with it but probably wouldn't go through all the trouble again. Would likely just go with the one from Big Bike Parts unless I was pulling a heavy camper or something. Even then, it may be fine. Also, we have a member here who makes a plug and play trailer wiring harness.

I hope I'm going to like this bike as much as the RSTD. I ordered the whole kit because I needed the 5 to 4. Last time I wired it myself but like this plug and play. To put the trailer hitch on I need to take the saddle bags off. So now with this harness I can do them both while the bags and seat are off.
