93 venture Posted May 3, 2008 #5 Posted May 3, 2008 Hey Don, did anyone fix the street sign at the end of your road? I was thinking last year it was hard to read or someone had painted over it.
Freebird Posted May 3, 2008 Author #6 Posted May 3, 2008 Haven't notice but I'll bet it's still painted over. That will make it fun...sort of like a scavenger hunt.

eagleeye Posted May 4, 2008 #8 Posted May 4, 2008 I've been gonna say something about lodging but not quite sure what I want to do. I have a room at the Oberlin, that's me and just me, so if someone wants to share, that would be OK with me. Two doubles as I recall If it was one queen, I'd be a bit more picky:rotf: I'll be in on Fri eve. Steve
Double D Posted May 4, 2008 #9 Posted May 4, 2008 WHY DO I SUDDENLY FEEL OLD AND OUTDATED....YIKES:think: I find that the best way to find your way to Don's house is wait outside at the hotel and follow someone that can afford a GPS.

VTirelli Posted May 5, 2008 #12 Posted May 5, 2008 Heck, I booked our room the day Don set the date and checked twice to make sure they still had it. Oberlin Inn is a great place, last year, my wife (read - ME) forgot to pack my fave riding jacket that I had hung in the closet to dry after we got caught in the rain. I called them when we got home. They found it, boxed it and shipped it to me and no charge ( I even gave them my credit card # to cover costs). Finding Don's is easy, just follow one of us, we're easy to find, we're the ones parked under the overhang behind the hotel. (I remember go past the cow farm and turn left......easy huh??) We'll be in early Friday PM.
Mariner Fan Posted May 5, 2008 #14 Posted May 5, 2008 I just got off the phone with the Oberlin Inn. I was still able to book a room for the Mrs. and me.

Don't know if anybody is staying there this year but they have in the past. I stayed there last year and I'll be staying there again this year. There is a Bob Evans right in front. However when you go eat at the Bob Evans you need to hold on to your Bike key tightly. Just ask Sleeperhawk.:whistling:
