tufftom4 Posted January 11, 2019 #1 Posted January 11, 2019 I just received my new revolver it is a Taurus Judge Magnum it takes either 3" .410 shotgun shells or 45 Colt ammo I have 000 buckshot and 45 Colt to try in it but I am weary of shooting it I am scared it will kick back and split my forehead open....Sorry I don't know how to turn it.
CaseyJ955 Posted January 11, 2019 #2 Posted January 11, 2019 Ive never seen one like that, that is COOL!
Condor Posted January 12, 2019 #3 Posted January 12, 2019 Unfortunately the Judge is illegal here in Komiefornia... Never heard anyone complain about recoil pre-roster... There are some available on the used market, but none can be imported into the state... We're working on getting rid of the roster...
tufftom4 Posted January 12, 2019 Author #4 Posted January 12, 2019 I was only kidding about the recoil but I will get video at the range.

I better post something positive about rules/regs after thundering on in another thread about gov. This should be interesting to CA residents. https://www.kotatv.com/content/news/Wyo-SD-lawmakers-seek-to-loosen-gun-laws-504227351.html Concealed permits here are $10 and about 20 minutes, pretty easy already. If this passes then it might start to look like some of these politicians actually saw the 2nd amendment in print somewhere. This has a lot of folks excited. I was only kidding about the recoil but I will get video at the range. Please do! I'm fascinated by this piece!
Sylvester Posted January 12, 2019 #6 Posted January 12, 2019 I have a Bond Arms 4" barreled derringer in 3" and I shoot the 000 buck in it without any issues. Therefore the size of the judge should be almost docile. I thought the judge came with optional "Magnaport".
captcharger Posted January 13, 2019 #7 Posted January 13, 2019 Recoil isn't bad at all. Just keep a firm grip if you are worried. My everyday CCW is a Colt SAA in .45. Uses same cartridge as the judge. The .410 rounds dont kick any harder than the 45 long colt. However the spread is what you have to worry about. The judge is a great door gun but I wouldn't carry it for CCW with shotgun rounds. One of those pellets miss the bad guy and hit an innocent person? No thank you. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
