Just changed my windshield from a Show Chrome to a Large Clearview. Seems to have added some new sounds to the repertoire. The whine isn't as loud because the sound of the lifters seem to be chiming in. As far as the wind protection, it's much better.

I have thought about getting the Clearview. I'm 5-11 and my stock WS is too tall which makes it tough in fog or rain. (My friend with his Harley has the same problem - he sits up on the back seat to see - I don't think I want to try that) Do you see over the top of the LG Clearview? How tall are you?

I'm 5'8" and can look over if I stretch, but most of the time I'm looking thru. The vent is great, I bought a blemished, saved $60.00 and still can't find the blems.

I installed my new Clearview XX-Large windshield last weekend. My wife has been for a couple of rides with me and she commented on having less wind buffeting. I look through the windshield and haven't found that to be a problem. This afternoon I rode home in the rain and the windshield sheets water off much better than the stock one. We are very satisfied with it.

I think it would help others who are considering a change of windshields if whenever someone posts about their windshield change...they would also state their height along with their findings.

Good idea. I'm in the market for one right now and I don't know if i should go woth clearview or Ceebailey's. Ceebailey's is much cheaper.. I'm 5'10. Any suggestions?

Just put XXL on and rode in one of the windiest days I've rode in for awhile on Saturday. The shield performed very well. The one thing I liked was my hands did not get as much wind and were a little warmer. Only sprinkled so can't say about the rain yet. I know it felt like a lot less wind that it would have been on the OEM.
