YamahaLarry Posted November 9, 2018 Posted November 9, 2018 I'd kill myself, or at a minimum, lose a limb to those props.
zagger Posted November 9, 2018 Posted November 9, 2018 These look like fun. Very cool, too bad they estimate a selling price of $59,000. Ouch. I cannot imagine how this would fit into current aviation laws. FAA requires a minimum altitude of 500 feet over populated areas and 1000 feet of altitude over the highest thing within 2000 feet in congested areas. Those open props would be something to avoid! I can guess what would happen if one of the prop motors or power supplies took a dump when you are up in the air. zag
djh3 Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 Yea they had something on TV about cops looking into using these. I thought, hmm what if a fellow took a spill off. Sure would want to clear the props on the way off. Or it could be hamburger city.
RSTDdog Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 A large scale implementation of the current drone technology. No reason the props couldn't have circular outer guards on them. Wonder how long does/will the battery last??
