Gary N. Posted May 2, 2008 #7 Posted May 2, 2008 Only 180 miles for me, but I've only been riding again for a little better than a week.
GigaWhiskey Posted May 2, 2008 #8 Posted May 2, 2008 Maybe 200, I really dunno. I spend more time cleaning it than riding. Been that way the last few years but I have has plenty of company those years keeping me busier than I knew was possible.
Brake Pad Posted May 2, 2008 #10 Posted May 2, 2008 about 7 thousand, so far, but plan to have about 22,000. by december
RoadKill Posted May 2, 2008 #11 Posted May 2, 2008 About 4k miles for me here in Central IL. Just started riding in April. 1st Oil Change Wednesday 5/7
Jerry W Posted May 2, 2008 #12 Posted May 2, 2008 Haven't kept track for the year, put 2,000 miles on it last week. A friend and I rode from here through New Mexico to Holbrook, Az. the turned South the Phoenix and over the Las Cruces, NM then El Paso, Van Horn and up to Odessa and back home. Going to change oil and clean the bike tomorrow and plan next trip.
Sleeperhawk Posted May 2, 2008 #13 Posted May 2, 2008 Since the January 1st, just a little over 7,000 miles and since I got the bike, just broke 60,000 miles. So I am averaging only 20,000 per year. Not enough time to do the rides we want to do.
cliffno350 Posted May 2, 2008 #14 Posted May 2, 2008 1200 on venture and probly 200 or so on v45 round town and stuff, but back is ailing but bike helps.

wolfman1 Posted May 2, 2008 #16 Posted May 2, 2008 A little over 2500. Love to ride. Would have done more but the weathers been crappy on many day's I could have ridden this Spring. Steve
Lone Eagle Posted May 2, 2008 #17 Posted May 2, 2008 Probably have put close to 2500 miles on the bike so far this year, weekends only.
BEER30 Posted May 3, 2008 #18 Posted May 3, 2008 Forgot to look at the mileage was on Jan 1. So for now I'll say that my bike is shy 1 month of having for 2 yrs. now and I have just turned 33K . My new truck has 1,748 (had to rub some new off quickly) , but my past truck ,I only put 5 k on it in 9 months . Tires got flat spots on it for sitting to much and battery went dead ! :rotf: BEER30
Guest BluesLover Posted May 3, 2008 #19 Posted May 3, 2008 2,700+ kms (1,700 miles) on it so far this year, ~47,000 kms (29,200 miles) on the 06 RSV. Not too shabby for a working guy who lives in the snow belt, IMHO. Cheersm
SaltyDawg Posted May 3, 2008 #20 Posted May 3, 2008 Just shy of 12,000 so far. I put 2000 to 2500 just going to work in a month.
RedRider Posted May 3, 2008 #21 Posted May 3, 2008 I've put about 700 miles on the new KLR. Intend to take the Venture out of moth balls this weekend. RR
Freebird Posted May 3, 2008 #22 Posted May 3, 2008 Well folks...I have a sad admission to make. My bike has yet to be out of the garage this year. I'm usually gone all week and when I get home, I try to get the spring stuff around here done. Yard work, repairs, etc. I've had a couple of beautiful days when I wanted to ride and then decided to work on the yard or do some other work around the house thinking I would ride the next day. Then the next day it always ends up raining and then I'm on the road again. Got in around 2:00 this morning after battling flight delays and etc. all day and now it's raining here. I sure hope to ride again one of these days.
Stratcat Posted May 3, 2008 #23 Posted May 3, 2008 about 7 thousand, so far, but plan to have about 22,000. by december You lucky dog gotta love that Florida Climate, very condusive to riding for sure! Keep it safe!

Gee, I wish I could do some more riding:rotf:
big mike Posted May 5, 2008 Author #25 Posted May 5, 2008 You guys are my heros. I wish I could ride as much as you do. Guess i'll have to wait till I grow up and retire to put as many miles on as you, cause I can't put off family responsibilities. I enjoy riding alot but for now I have to plan on 1 or two big rides a year, and the rest I put into riding to work and back. I'm just glad that I have such a great family. They let me take rides for a short while on sunny days, then I get to come home and mow the lawn, and help with chores. And for some of you, (freebird) I hope you can get out there soon for a ride!!!! Keep the tires on the pavement!!! Big Mike:15_8_211[1]:
