flyboy0504 Posted October 20, 2018 #1 Posted October 20, 2018 About a year ago, something seemed to break in the starter switch of my 1987 Yamaha Venture Royale. There seems to be something lodged behind the switch, making it hard to press it for starting. I have tried on a number of occasions to remove the switch but I'm not finding any good tech details on disconnecting the throttle cables and all of that. Has anyone had this problem and can anyone point me toward good information on how one would change this switch out? Thanks
Patmac6075 Posted October 20, 2018 #2 Posted October 20, 2018 I believe Dingy did a couple of write ups in the 1st gen tech section. https://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?43027-1983-1985-Throttle-Side-Electrical-Switch-Disassembly-and-Cleaning try this.
