The Mayor Posted September 24, 2018 #1 Posted September 24, 2018 (edited) Has anyone changed out these ugly cast wheels on a 07 royal star venture for something a little more stylish? Edited September 24, 2018 by The Mayor omitted for what is was for
slowrollwv Posted September 24, 2018 #2 Posted September 24, 2018 Yes some have done it. I have heard that they used a Stratoliner wheel on the front But left the rear wheel alone because you can't see much of it. Some have had their wheels chromed and they look very good. BTW all of the gen 2 wheels are the same.
BratmanXj Posted September 26, 2018 #3 Posted September 26, 2018 The 18" 1900cc Stratoliner wheel is a direct swap with a 130/70-18 tire that helps lighten up the steering on these big bikes. The Stratoliner has a cast wheel while the S model has chrome. The floating rotors and 4 piston calipers are a direct swap as well. Rear is a tough one because of the shaft drive.
bongobobny Posted September 28, 2018 #4 Posted September 28, 2018 Yup, a Strat "S" is pretty high on my priority list, I want to make it happen in the next year or two...
