Hi I am looking for the chrome gas tank top cover that goes around the ignition switch. For my 2006 Midnight Venture. Anyone know where to find one.

Might I make a suggestion... Don't do it!! Sun reflecting off that thing will blind you when you least expect it.... I couldn't wait to get that thing off an RSV after I bought it....

LOL Funny. I was looking for some other pics for a fellow today and ran across my pictures of my painted black gas cap. And remembered that thing use to reflect sun rite in the ole peepers. I painted it with some black plasti dip paint. It actually matched to black surround thing pretty close.

On my 99 rsv I had a similar problem with reflections. My wife sewed up a little black cloth cover with elastic that slips over the chrome gas cap that solved my problem.

Look on ebay motors, always some for sale there. I have one on my RSV for years, no problem with sun.
