YamahaLarry Posted September 10, 2018 #1 Posted September 10, 2018 Need to replace the hoses coming off of the carburetor joints (intake). The hose that you have to remove when doing a carb sync. It is hard for me to tell for sure in all the parts illustrations, but it appears to be part number 90445-090G9-00. Just wondering if someone can confirm before I order the part. 2009 RSV. Part #53 below from AIS parts page:
Marcarl Posted September 10, 2018 #2 Posted September 10, 2018 Looks to me to be just an ordinary piece of vacuum line, nothing special I wouldn't think.

Probably not, but the one on mine now was baked on pretty hard. Had to cut about 1/2" off of each one of them and took a while to clean all the stuck rubber off of the little metal tubes. So figured I would replace with hose from momma Yamaha.
Marcarl Posted September 10, 2018 #4 Posted September 10, 2018 Generally there is enough length to do just as you did without any adverse effect, and unless there is a pinching possibility I would just insert a normal vacuum line. You'll pay big bucks for a OEM formed line.
bongobobny Posted September 11, 2018 #5 Posted September 11, 2018 Save yourself some money and use generic rubber vacuum hose. Just remember it is METRIC size when you purchase it...
