cowpuc Posted September 3, 2018 #1 Posted September 3, 2018 IMHO,, they were cool bikes. Obviously they just didnt sell enough of them to see margins like they had hoped for.. A couple years ago a the guy who owned the Motus Dealership in Grand Rapids brought one to our Spring Run and I got to pour over it.. WOWZY what a well built machine.. Of course, sitting there with that big ol V-4 parks next to Tweeks = it REALLY stirred my heart. Steve, the guy who rode the bike over, invited us over to a whole day of Motus riding but neither myself or my HD ridin buddy ever made it over there.. The end game high dollar of the bike was big reason why we didnt,,, just to rich for our blood (I even told Steve that I thought it was gonna be a tough sell because of the price point). I guess now that this has happened I am gonna have to call my friend Jay Leno to get that ride... https://www.citybike.com/news-clues-rumors/motus-motorcycles-shutting-down-effective-immediately/ https://www.al.com/business/index.ssf/2018/09/birmingham-based_motus_motorcy.html
RandyR Posted September 3, 2018 #2 Posted September 3, 2018 While you're visiting Jay, maybe he'll let you take a leisurely drive in 3 or 4 of his Lamborghini's ?
Sylvester Posted September 3, 2018 #3 Posted September 3, 2018 I will bet serious money that Jay Leno's machines have no stickers.
Flyinfool Posted September 3, 2018 #4 Posted September 3, 2018 I could see ole @cowpuc taking one of those Lambos out for a spin and returning it with some sticker from quite a ways away.
