tomephil Posted August 29, 2018 #1 Posted August 29, 2018 Hi All, Just FYI, I had been waiting for the 2018 Venture to come out but air cooled engines are just not for me. I picked up a new 2017 Gold Wing last week. And I gotta say, Its awesome! Still have the 84, 1200 Venture and the 2000 Venture Royal, but I think the 1300 will go. But not the 84. I still think that's one of the best bikes ever produced! Now I need to start looking for safety chrome for the 1800. If anyone is looking for a red 2000 venture royal with about 88 000 miles, and lots of extras, let me know. All the best, Tom

Yes, enjoying the new bike. Took Terry for a ride and wasnt impressed as I thought that I had cross winds gusting up to 50 or 60 klms. Got home and found the winds were gusting up to 90 klms so I guess the wing did OK.
