mic question

I just finished putting in the Buddy Rich fix for using the cell over the zumo, and it works great. My question is that the head set I have hangs over my ears and is really uncomfortable. If I switch back to the external speakers will the mic still work? If no one knows I will give it a shot when I get home this afternoon.

Yes the MIC will still work if you are listening over the ext speakers.

Yes it does work.... so when you're stopped at a red light, the people in the car next to you don't think you're crazy talking to yourself! The down side is that they can hear your entire conversation. Sometimes I get some pretty interesting looks if I'm on a call with the audio coming through the headset, especially from the driver of cars on my right side as they can't really see the boom mic and can't hear anyone responding to my chatter!
