Clutch Time!!!!

So, my clutch has been making some racket for a while now, I've ordered new friction plates and a clutch cover gasket, should be able to do the tear down next week when parts arrive.

 

My question for the group is, has anyone else experienced clutch chatter on these bikes (mine is an 09 RSTD by the way, 35k miles) and if so were you able to fix er up with new friction plates or did you have to replace the clutch spring as well?

 

Secondly, I'm considering upgrading the clutch to include the fancy coil spring pressure plate the Barnett makes, has anyone used these? and if so, what was your experience with them?
