scooter45 Posted February 1, 2007 #1 Posted February 1, 2007 Iam looking at the Diamond R light rails, does it come with rails or do you need to get them from Yamaha. From photos they look different but Diamond R photos dont show them with the kit Thanks:confused24:
Lone Eagle Posted February 1, 2007 #2 Posted February 1, 2007 Hey, Jim, my belief is - if they are the units I am thinking of - that you need to get the rails from Yamaha - then mount those lights into the rails. Hope this helps.
Tom Posted February 2, 2007 #3 Posted February 2, 2007 The saddlebag trim rails are from Yamaha.the light rail is fron diamond r..I have pics in my gallery,1 is at night..I Love then and Allen from Diamond R was VERY helpful during my installation. I puy them on a toggle switch where I can turn them off when I want to. Tom
scooter45 Posted February 2, 2007 Author #4 Posted February 2, 2007 Thank You It is hard to tell from the Web Site. Now I need to figure out witch one I would like best on my bike. I don't have the rails on my RSV Jim
Lone Eagle Posted February 2, 2007 #5 Posted February 2, 2007 Jim, if you take a look at my gallery, I have the other set Diamond R offers - Allen is a great guy to work with - and enjoy either unit you go with.
scooter45 Posted February 2, 2007 Author #6 Posted February 2, 2007 Thanks Lone Eagle, nice phots of your bike! I think on my two tone 03 red & tan it would look better with out the bag rails and put the light bar under the bags:)
