Air Ready Auto Posted May 11, 2018 #1 Posted May 11, 2018 I decided I had to go so I rounded up some friends and headed out. We rode about 40 miles to a little diner where we met up with some others. From there we took off to the first stop of the run. This is about 1/4 of the bikes there. Lucy is centered in the picture. Another shot of the lot. There was a gent there with the new Eluder. He was kind enough to let me check it out. Not going to lie, I want one! The following are pics of things I saw there that I thought were cool... I even got a chance to see @zagger there. (Briefly, he was on his way out as I was on my way in.) My group never made it to the second stop. We found this. From there we found some other roads that took us out by some lake and off into the sunset for a few hours. All in all, it was 310 miles of one awesome day.

zagger Posted May 12, 2018 #4 Posted May 12, 2018 I even got a chance to see zagger there. (Briefly, he was on his way out as I was on my way in.) Sorry I missed you. I rode up to Leland a bit early since there are much smaller parking areas than at Pine Bluff and it can get to be a real traffic jam. Plus, this year's rainy weather made lots of the grassy areas in Leland into a complete swamp. Much of the time, the road through Leland was totally jammed up with arriving bikes. Hard to guess at the total attendance - especially since many people just go to one end or the other on the ride. Fortunately, it was a beautiful day and I drank enough beer to float a small ship! zag

vzuden Posted May 15, 2018 #6 Posted May 15, 2018 @zagger, did you across the scene of a bike accident during the Run? My son’s neighbor hit a turkey while riding his triumph bonneville. Messed him pretty good (no helmet) with head injuries. I think it was near Cross Plains
zagger Posted May 15, 2018 #7 Posted May 15, 2018 zagger, did you across the scene of a bike accident during the Run? My son’s neighbor hit a turkey while riding his triumph bonneville. Messed him pretty good (no helmet) with head injuries. I think it was near Cross Plains Don't really know. An ambulance came into Pine Bluff when I was there, but it was impossible to see what was going on. Hitting a turkey seems like a particularly bad piece of luck. Hope that he will recover OK. zag
vzuden Posted May 16, 2018 #8 Posted May 16, 2018 It’s pretty bad. Just found out tonight they may have to make the decision to disconnect the life support.
