Clutch re install problem help please

Hey guys , I misted the first step in my clutch inspection. I did not pull the clutch lever in and tie it off before disassembly clutch basket, so how do I now extend the shaft rod manually to re install the clutch basket. thanks Steve

Shouldn't have to worry about it. I think the point of pulling the handle before you start is that it wouldn't happen after you have everything apart. I never pulled mine and everything worked just fine.
