Puc""""" www.youtube.com/watch?v=AU7EBg1ID3M I have used Dyna Beads for years and they come in 2 oz. bags with a filler bottle that feeds through the valve core. A few weeks ago I thought I was ordering Dyna Beads on Ebay, that is what I googled. To my surprise they were E Z Beads. Had to use them since I had nothing else. Bottom line is they work just as good. Never had a balance issue using ceramic beads.
djh3 Posted May 8, 2018 #3 Posted May 8, 2018 First set of wheels on my 900 I used beads. Those were tube tires. What a PIA to get the beads in that valve area. So when I got tubeless tires I just pour them in the tire and seat it up. That whole trying to get in the valve core thing is crazy. Plus add in it has a 90 deg on it and it is dang near impossible. Got a TPM ready to install and a new Shinko 777. But the monitor will not thread on the valve stems I have. Guess they are a off size. So I ordered the T-valve from FOB so I can add air without pulling the cap thing off. I guess they are on a slow boat from Malaysia.
zagger Posted May 9, 2018 #4 Posted May 9, 2018 What a PIA to get the beads in that valve area. So when I got tubeless tires I just pour them in the tire and seat it up. That whole trying to get in the valve core thing is crazy. Seems that some valve cores have a smaller ID than others and present a problem for inserting the beads. I've used beads for many years but recently it seems like a total hassle. I even rigged up an engraver vibrator tool with a blunt tip to pound on the valve stem and jiggle those little guys down into the tire. Frankly, it just isn't worth the hassle. Last tires I got mounted, I just used regular weights. zag
bikenut Posted May 10, 2018 #5 Posted May 10, 2018 I have run dyna beads for years on my two wheeler. I install them on first tire change on my 2006 venture and put 65000 miles on the bike with no problems. I also installed them in a lot of motorcycles I changed tire on with I was running my motorcycle shop and not one person came back with a negative response. When I change my front tire on my trike I will be installing them also. Great product Tires last longer and less cupping
