YamahaParExcellence Posted April 19, 2018 #1 Posted April 19, 2018 (edited) Typo: that should be ; groan, lol ....for myself,...with waiting so long for my SVTC, I decided to buy my first ever custom saddle for my Kawasaki ZR-7S. The bike is metallic red and so, I put together from all the choices you can have..the following Gun Fighter and Lady saddle. I think the natural tan leather that I chose for the seating will look really, great contrasted against the red metallic. http://www.corbin.com/faq.shtml http://www.corbin.com/funstuff/media/corbin_ecc.htm For this bike: It's built for my weight, height, and inseam to the T. You can cycle between the three views from the top right icons at the rendering and build page. I didn't bother getting the back rest, even though the Corbin pan allows for it, as you can see in the pics. My wife has never climbed aboard CowFace..and never will. Frankly the bike scares her. Does your wife ride on Maggie? http://media.corbin.com/config/cds/#canyondualsport_2.pfs?width=3000&p.tn=Tan_Leather.png,Indian_Tan_Leather.png,Indian_Tan_Leather.png,Copper.png,Gold.png&p.c=,,,,&p.on=&wildCard=none&thePrice=473.00&thePart=K-ZR7S-GL This is also the bike that I ordered last week the Michelin Pilot Road 4 tires. Everybody is raving about the set, for wet road cornering and stopping power, for a Sport's Tour. Edited April 23, 2018 by YamahaParExcellence
cowpuc Posted April 19, 2018 #2 Posted April 19, 2018 BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE UUUUUUUUUUUU TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT FUL:178:!!!!!!!!! That awesome Cowface is gonna be gorgeously spoiled rotten with that puppy on her back!!! GOOD CHOICE IMHO!!! :clap2::thumbsup: Tip,,,,, ride on Maggie??? Your not the first to ask that but definitely 1 of only 4 people who have.. I'll tell you about the first person who asked and my answer to him and I gotta feeling you will notice the answer from that.. The Oncologist walked into the exam room a few weeks after they cut the fist sized tumor from my abdomine and asked how we were doing as far as soreness and such.. They had to take some bladder, glands, prostrate and a couple inches of ureter in the process of that 1st surgery which left me peeing thru a straw into a bag along with other not so much fun things so the Dr. inquired how I was doing emotionally too.. My response was, of course: OK but,,, did you get it?? To that he said they wouldnt know for a while but that because of the type of Cancer we were dealing with (mass doubling in size every 90 days) it was a really really really good thing they did the work when they did... In response to that I went right for the open, honest truth and asked the Dr. if he thought it was "Bucketlist time".. The guy we were speaking to was/is a VERY straight shooter,, a DEFINITE warrior against the nasty enemy and very serious minded.. He looked right at me,, took a breath and said - no one lives for ever and with your other physical conditions (some earned,, some still have me wondering),,, new Pacemaker (heart dropping down into the 20 beats per minute) and all that too,,,, yea - I think I would if I were you get on with doing things I wanted to do... Tip looked at me and I looked at her and we both said at the same time: R1 time!!! The Dr asked what exactly that meant.. A short debriefing about how some of my body parts got into this mess in the first place (MX jumps on bikes like those of the early days that only had 2 1/2 inches of rear shock travel and those little 50 footers got obsorbed by the riders body) quickly led to the point of conversation where I disclosed that thru out my love/passion and ownership of cars and bikes I had always purposely stayed away from (but always wanted one) the seriousness of owning one of the top ten fastest production motorcycles in the world and that the teeny little 1000cc motored R1 was always at the top of my list though and Tip knew it.... He asked if I had ever ridden one and was quite amazed when I told him about racing open class on 500cc 2 stroke dirt bikes, riding wheelies from one span on the Mackinaw Bridge to the other, owning "Buell" sport bikes and other scoots that I had hot rodded (had a fairly quick built CB1100F) and of course playing with bikes like my V-4 Yams on the Bonneville but then I said = nope,, never ever even rode one and told him being responsible and raising my kids came first... He smiled,, looked at Tippy and asked just how fast a little 1000cc motorcycle (regurgitating my words cause I truly believe he had no clue) would go.. Tip pointed at me, smiled and said "ask him".. When I said I had read that 100 mph in first gear was the rumored (Maggie has seen 105 in 1st with me on her back - kind of funny now adays in looking at all these new touring scoots cause even the top of line, high end, 160 horse Beemer is speed limited to 101 mph and that little liter bike will put a whoopin on that thing in FIRST GEAR - I know, really not apples to apples and means nothing to most folks BUT still,, in FIRST GEAR ) and the under classified early models with no speed limiter on em like I was going hunting for were known to be able to bounce the rev limiter in 6th at +190 mph... With that said,,,, the Dr. shook his head, did a little thing while again looking at Tip and thats when he asked THE question Yam,,,,,, to which Tip and I, once again at the almost exactly at the same time said = AINT NO WAY,, AINT NO HOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This R1...what is the redline?!?!?!? On my ZR7S, it sits at 10,000, but the bike isn't meant to be a racer, at 78 HP max. Just a good canyon carver at mostly legal speeds. BTW, there's no way my Kawa has that aggressive acceleration. Wow...the thing flies! Edited April 19, 2018 by YamahaParExcellence
YamahaParExcellence Posted April 19, 2018 Author #5 Posted April 19, 2018 (edited) Why a “moan & groan” present. I thought you said you were getting your SVTC at the beginning of May?? What happened? I bought the saddle two days ago...while still singing the blues over my limbo with getting the SVTC.... I just found out yesterday, that I'm good to go for the SVTC. The saddle was going to be my cheer-up gift to myself. Now..it's morphed to a butt-comfort happening. I always wanted a Corbin...but never got around to buying one. The time was right! I'll probably have the SVTC by mid to late May now, as it is still on the ship heading towards Vancouver, BC. I can wait ...since having validation of my actually getting it.
