My lical dealer has had a few on the floor, when I asked about a demo ride they said NO, every one they get is already sold and no Yamaha demo days are scheduled.

Put me on that ride list too!

I got a text from Chad at Pioneer...he talked to their Yamaha rep. and he told him that he doesn't for see any problem with having a demo for us....

I'm gonna warn you now... It's a dangerous thing to do.. But if you must test ride it, bring your checkbook. My wife made me buy one when we finished our ride.. Of course I didn't complain. Oh and I came from riding a Honda st1300. So it was a totally different experience..

:lightbulb:,,, maybe,, just maybe you should text Chad back and tell him you have heard of 1 or 2 club members that still have a small amount of misgivings toward Mom Yam for bailing on the old archiac water cooled V-4's and you were wondering if the Rep's would/could also include one of those little 1700cc V-Max's for doing side by side comparison's with in case anyone wanted to... Personally,,, I think that would be a classy thing for Mom Yam to do and would GREATLY appreciate the chance to ride a bike with that motor in it.... :missingtooth:

Regardless,, GOOD ON YA BIG TOM for working on setting this up = you da man!!!!

Be careful...wives might blame you for their husbands shucking out $27,000! You might have to enter the Witness Identity Relocation Program. Be ready to run...:)

That's cheap compared to the cost of a new spyder.....that's a bargain ...!

Did you keep the ST1300 for your sport rides, Mimurph?

I've been known to drop a 2wheeler every now and then, can I get on the list to give it a proper drop-test?

Yeh just give him one without a kickstand he always forgets to use it anyway, hence the convert to three wheel

P/S put me down to test ride one too.(one with a kick stand)

No I kept my old friend my roadstar. Three bikes was too many for me to keep on the road. 20180401_083222.jpg

What kickstand? Is that something new?
