West Virginia -- where to stay?

Greetings -- new member here....

We're planning a trip to ride some of the great roads in West Virginia in May. We hope to pick a spot to stay for 3 to 5 nights during the week, and to day rides out of there. Would be 5 to 6 guys plus bikes. A house or cabin that could accommodate us all would be great. We are all "mature" riders, so no real roughing it.

Any suggestions from any of you locals would be greatly appreciated...

Our International Rally was held here in 2016 with the resort serving as a basecamp. They have both camping and nice rooms. Great roads and lots of scenery

Look for a house in cannan valley. This is a small ski area resort, that has great day riding. Another possibility would be looking at the state parks. Blackwater Falls, Cannan Valley, Babcock, Pipestem, & Twin Falls.

 

Good Luck! IMO the best riding is on the Eastern side of West Virginia, East of I-77.
