Yoopermoose Posted March 11, 2018 #1 Posted March 11, 2018 Greetings all! Just had my new Star Venture delivered from the dealer to my garage. Still 6 inches of ice for the length of my drive so will be a while before 1st cruise. I HATE the orange and black sticker on the gas tank and have started removing with my now broken fingernails. Anyone have a suggestion for removal while not damaging the paint? Thanks in advance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Guest divey Posted March 11, 2018 #2 Posted March 11, 2018 Run a hair blower over the area thereby heating up the glue that holds it on. It should just peel right off. Did mine that way. Don’t leave the blower stationary in one spot as depending on the hair blower, they can get very hot. Doug

Will do the low heat, hair-dryer and WD40 gentle wipe up. Then a soap wash, and sealer wax...with an over Carnauba wax, in that area.
American Posted May 1, 2018 #9 Posted May 1, 2018 I remove that sticker on all my bikes and living in Southwest Florida makes removal easy. I then use some Liquid Glass Polish and it looks like the sticker was never there.
