Can you add a 2nd radio to intercom?

I am looking at getting my ham ticket and would like to add a 2m radio to my intercom. Has anyone else incorporated a 2nd 2way radio?

Yes, ideally I would daisy chain off with a 2nd ptt switch mounted on the handlebars. I would also like to find a way to add a 3rd intercom line but that is a problem for a later date.

will your 2nd radio have external jack for ear phone & mike? If so siearia eletronics sells a 5pin din adapter /w a ptt button velcro to handle bars.I dont know if this the kind of set up you are looking for but it might work

I am with southbound on this. Talk to Sierra Electronics and explain what you have and what you want to do and they may have an idea for you.

My 2nd radio would have to have a custom Mic plug made up anyway and I would be using a Bluetooth unit for the rider and hard wire for the back seat and if possible sidecar.
