The Tooch Posted February 22, 2018 #1 Posted February 22, 2018 Hey Marcarl you guys are high and dry I hope?! Keeping Brantford in our thoughts......be safe.
Marcarl Posted February 22, 2018 #2 Posted February 22, 2018 Thanks for your thoughts Dave. Yep, we're high and dry as most folks are. There are some flooded areas, but nothing people shouldn't expect once in a while in that area. Most evacuations were done for precaution. Bridges were closed, and still are, also due to precaution. There was an ice jamb that might have caused some real consternation if it plugged entirely, but it broke up in time, although it did hold back some extra water. Today the river is high, but to my thinking all is as best as it could be. I'm thinking that the officials are thinking to err on the side of caution and seeing as folks are already out, best to leave them out for a bit longer just be on the safe side. Hey,, and the news is the news. Pictures were sure taken at attractive angles.
