Chaharly Posted February 20, 2018 #1 Posted February 20, 2018 (edited) Hey guys! Tearing the fairing off the bike to install a new throttle cable, install an edsets adapter, and I'm going to route USB charger cables to the trunks and as I started tearing in, I was seeing ALOT of corrosion on them old electrical plugs. (Not having the rain seals on that big chrome piece between the windshield and the headlight probably hasn't helped with this) When I went to unplug the HAZARD switch, I accidentally pulled a corroded spade right out of the connector. It looks like I can put it all back together, but I'm not sure. I'm attaching a picture of the spade. How would I go about fixing it, and what do you guys do to clean up your corroded electrical plugs? Edited February 20, 2018 by Chaharly
Yammer Dan Posted February 20, 2018 #2 Posted February 20, 2018 I'd put a new one recrimp & solder or at lest clean & recrimp.
