Ronbo Posted February 15, 2018 #1 Posted February 15, 2018 Hello, I just joined the forum, I have been reading posts for a while and I find this forum is the best! The rear shock on my 2012 Venture is pretty much done. I guess I can't complain too much since it gave me 73,000km of service. I am thinking about going with the Hagon unit, I don't pull a trailer and I am about 50/50 with a passenger. I sent emails off to the US and UK suppliers. We'll see if anyone replies. Ron.
Leland Posted February 15, 2018 #2 Posted February 15, 2018 I read that this guy is the US dealer. Don't know about Canada. I have no personal experience. https://www.davequinnmotorcycles.com/cgi-bin/webc.cgi/home.html
sldunker Posted February 16, 2018 #3 Posted February 16, 2018 I bought a shock from Dave Quinn last year. They have them in stock. The guy I talked to had a lot of knowledge about the shock and the RSV. I felt the Hagon shock is a big improvement over stock. I put about 7000 miles on Hagon shock last year and am still adjusting it to my riding style. Good Luck
Ronbo Posted February 16, 2018 Author #4 Posted February 16, 2018 Thanks guys. I just ordered a Hagon (HD) from Dave Quinn Motorcycles. He asked me to let people know he is sold out of Hagons for the Star Venture, I got the last unit. He said it would be a couple of weeks before he gets more in. Cheers Ron
