Freebird's Mainteanance Day - June 2nd, 2018

Freebird's Maintenance Day will be held on the weekend of June 2nd, 2018. We hope that as many of you as possible will be able to attend. Location is Oberlin, OH. There is plenty of camping space for those of you who wish to do so and I will be adding and updating a thread in the rides and rallies section over the next couple of days with local hotel information and etc. For those of you who have never attended, this is a relaxed weekend where we do light maintenance on the bikes but even more importantly, just visit and get to know each other better. It's always a great time and I think you would enjoy it. Lunch is catered on Saturday with a donation can to help cover the costs of the food.

 

As said, the official date is Saturday June 2nd but typically people start showing up as early as Thursday afternoon and many don't leave until sometime on Sunday. We hope to see you here.

 

Please RSVP on the calendar as soon as possible. It helps to know approximately how many are coming so that we can order the correct amount of food.

Yep sure is!!! and that just fine, no issue!!! it's just, now that I'm retired I'm almost ready to go already,,, guess I'll just have to wait, and wait, and wait and then wait some more. Is it time yet????

Nah, we won't be doing that, he's done an amazing job keeping that machine of his running like a fine tuned sewing machine. That there white stuff spells MONEY!!! and for some folks that smells REAL good. It goes both ways though, I admit, maybe I'll just have to let him know how nice the transfer is having things go out of one pocket into another.

Sure does look pretty EH!!!??? but maybe only if you are Canadian.

Well,, I already called and put a down payment at Harbor Freight in Oberlin Ohio on two of those Tent garages they sell.. The plan was to head to Maintenance Day down there this year, grab the Tent garages and homestead a spot on the Pond Monster lake in an effort to escape all this white wash over spray that Fool's been hitting us with. I was gonna stack those Tents up and then hire the Boss to install one of his powerized stair cases for our upstairs... I was also gonna hold one of those "Dent a Car" events like they used to have at demolition days where you get 1 wack for a dollar using Fool's truck that I know he uses to manuver the White Washer around with.. I was planning to use the proceeds from the "dent a truck" for an extra tent garage to store our stuff in next to our homestead and then, of course,, let my friends stay there when they come to visit us at our home on the lake......

All bets are off now though since reading about whats going on down there... Oh well,, would have been fun.. Guess I better call HF and see if I can get my deposit back..

Darn.....leave on this year's "Purple Helmet's" bucket list trip III on June 1st, so won't be able to make MD.

 

Guess I'll just have to plan on making MarCarl's meet an eat, as my Spring Venturerider event.

 

This is this year's bucket list plan so far.......heading for New Orleans.

I got 2- 5 Gal. buckets of driveway Tar!!! WE kin build a fire to warm it a little.
