The button is only used for the CB unless you have mic mutes installed. The intercom is on all the time.

Not real sure about Mic mutes I was under the impression plug and play Supposed to be made for this bike I have a front headset and rear headset and yes if you unplug the headset system and turn the CB on you can see the TX on radio control also this is all 2007 Royal Star venture Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
RDawson Posted January 18, 2018 #4 Posted January 18, 2018 With key in run position push the select button unti IC shows on the display. Using the up arrow button set the intercom volume to 20. You should then be able to just speak in the mic to test the headsets. If this doesn't work there are write ups in the tech library to troubleshoot the system. I've not had to go there yet personally. Others here can chime in on that.
RDawson Posted January 19, 2018 #5 Posted January 19, 2018 Let us know how it goes. Someone here will point you in the right direction.

videoarizona Posted January 26, 2018 #10 Posted January 26, 2018 If you don't have a manual, suggest you search this site for the link and download the user manual. The audio set up is a bit complicated at first, but after use it becomes quite easy.... Lots of good stuff you can do...
RDawson Posted January 26, 2018 #11 Posted January 26, 2018 Experiment with volume settings to cut wind noise through the mics. I've tried the balloon trick that didn't really work for me, has helped some people. I'm getting ready to order the mic mutes for that and an Amplirider to adjust phone volume. The tech library has write ups I used to link a GPS, phone, and a Bluetooth receiver to the factory setup so I can use the phone, stream music, and get directions through the headsets along with the intercom. I'll probably use the mic mutes to turn off the back seat directions too.
BruceyE Posted September 21, 2020 #12 Posted September 21, 2020 Sometimes mine works and sometimes it doesn't I'm thinking that maybe there's a bit moisture in it.
