The Faux tank grommet is really hard to find. I split a piece of vacuum line lengthwise and glued that around the opening in the frame and it has worked perfect for the last 50K miles.

Which antenna for the royal, CB or radio?

For the grommet...try Ace. They just may have something that will work. Look in the O ring/grommet area....drawers full of goodies.

Antenna. If I read your post right, it's a single antenna with a splitter by the CB unit in the right fairing. Go with a 3rd party antenna. Better quality, reception and can bolt right on. I went with the Firestick...I called them first.

There are two grommets for the tank cover. A slot one at the front and then a round one for the bolt at the back. I got the rear one from a Yamaha dealer a couple of years ago so they might still be available. Don't know about the front one though.

CB and Radio. All in one right? Good thinking on that homemade grommet idea! I think I might have to do that
