luvmy40 Posted December 10, 2017 #1 Posted December 10, 2017 I clean out the garage once a year, whether it needs it or not. Today was day 1. We moved the completely disassembled 1981 Yamaha XJ750RH Seca out to the shed, got rid of a truck load of cardboard and filled a very large garbage can with all manner of detritus. There remains a whole lot of reorganization and further cleaning but we made room for the Beast so I can start the removal of the carbs for rebuild and the replacement of some cheapazz chicom head cover gaskets that cost me 2 gallons of oil last season. This is the most space I've had in this garage since this time last year! I have all the necessary carb parts and head cover gaskets on order from Partzilla and a Needle Shim Kit coming from skydoc_17 to, hopefully cure my fuel economy issue.
RandyR Posted December 10, 2017 #2 Posted December 10, 2017 There's more room there than I have in mine. Congrats !!
Yammer Dan Posted December 10, 2017 #3 Posted December 10, 2017 Garage Clean-Up??? Where do ya order them from??? I got a 20'x50' without that much room!! Might order a double!!
Guest Posted December 11, 2017 #4 Posted December 11, 2017 Ha! I'm jealous of the space you have....doing renovations and the garage is full of boxes of laminate flooring, some full, many empty, a tablesaw, a chop saw........isn't even room for a fart.
BratmanXj Posted December 11, 2017 #6 Posted December 11, 2017 When the wife and I were house shopping I liked the house we now live in, then I walked out back to the oversize 2-1/2 car garage with the 1-1/2 car heated and insulated workshop and fell in love. I spent Saturday putting the thrower on the front of the John Deere, moved the MC to the back of the workshop for the winter next to mom's jet ski and project Honda Trail70. Snow thrower is now right by the door for easy out when it starts to snow and the "free" Deere project is right behind it...
